For some couples the journey to parenthood isn’t as simple as they hoped. Fortunately, advances in assisted conception treatments can make a real difference.
At Complete Fertility Centre in Southampton we offer a range of fertility treatments to give you the best possible chance of having a baby. Our caring team works with you to develop a personal conception plan, giving extra one-to-one doctor, nursing and embryologist time to perfect it.
Our fertility treatments include
Your fertility journey – step by step
Before starting treatment, we encourage all patients to meet with one of our Counsellors who will offer emotional support before, during and after treatment.
Step 1
You can be referred to the Complete Fertility Centre by your GP or Consultant Gynaecologist, or you can self-refer.
Step 2
Your first appointment will be with one of our Consultants to discuss your fertility history and the results of any investigations you have had already including blood tests, an ultrasound scan and a semen analysis. We will book these investigations if necessary.
Step 3
Your Consultant will discuss the pros and cons of each treatment option including the likelihood of success and possible side effects, and develop your personal conception plan with you to give you the best chance of achieving a healthy pregnancy.
Step 4
Your next appointment is with one of our Nurses who will talk though your treatment schedule in more detail and how to administer any medication required.
Who will I see throughout my treatment?
Team consistency is something we value very highly at Complete Fertility. You will initially see one of our expert consultants. Our nursing team are here to help and support you throughout your fertility journey and patients are assigned a fertility nurse specialist team to help at every stage. We also offer up to six free counselling sessions in all our treatment packages including IVF, ICSI & IUI and for patients using donor sperm and for egg recipients.
We are known for our friendly, open and honest approach so why not come and see for yourself and meet the team by booking in for our informal, free open evenings?
When to seek help?
If you have been trying to conceive for a year or more with no success (or sooner if you are after the age of 36), we recommend booking an appointment with a fertility consultant. You can be referred to the Complete Fertility Centre by your GP or Consultant Gynaecologist, or you can self-refer.
