Reports to Europe Director Virtus Health & Clinic Director UK
Main purpose
To develop and lead the UK marketing activities and accelerate the Company’s growth by creating and delivering an integrated Marketing Strategy and coordinating activities across Europe working with marketing colleagues in the relevant countries.
Key responsibilities
1.To pro-actively manage and support UK and European clinics to create and execute local marketing plans consistent with the European Business plans.
2.To measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns in terms of revenue growth, cycle growth, market share, profitability targets, and ROI.
3.To establish an accurate database of market intelligence including commissioning appropriate research, customer forums, and the use of social media and the web.
4.To maintain and promote Virtus Health Europe clinic brands or a European brand through the implementation of clear brand guidelines and effective brand positioning.
5.To maintain European websites and expand the digital presence in Europe.
6.To manage the production of European marketing collateral and provide marketing templates to each clinic, with training if required.
7.To lead the promotion and publicity of clinics at the European major conferences, exhibitions, and organize open evenings and the launches of new clinics and services.
8.To maintain effective relationships with the media that enhance and protect Virtus Health Europe’s reputation and brand.
9. To develop a holistic strategy which drives both private and public enquires with a specific strategy to position Virtus clinics as the first referral choice for the public sector.
10.To work with senior management to identify and evaluate new business development opportunities and generate plans to exploit new opportunities.
11.To develop a marketing model and patient-conversion model that contributes to monthly KPI reporting.
12.To develop internal employee communications channels and tools e.g. monthly newsletters.
13.To maximise best practice marketing techniques and activities across the European/clinics.
14.To support and participate in activities that develop and improve central services at European level.
15.To act in full compliance with the letter and spirit of national and company legal, ethical and regulatory laws and standards.
16.To ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times in line with European policy and current HFEA Code of Practice.
17.To undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Confidentiality
The post holder must maintain confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other Company business in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. In circumstances where it becomes known that a member of staff has communicated such information to an unauthorised person, that staff member will be liable for dismissal. Moreover, the Data Protection Act 1998 also renders an individual liable for prosecution in the event of unauthorised disclosure of information.
Terms and conditions
Permanent post subject to 6 month probation period.
Full-time 37.5 hours per week.
Annual leave entitlement 25 days, with leave year starting on 1st April
European Personal Pension Scheme consisting of x% employee contribution and y% employer contribution.

Essential: Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
Desirable: Degree and/or relevant business qualification
Experience and knowledge

- Successful track record of developing and delivering marketing strategies within a service industry, ideally in the healthcare sector
- Proven experience of achieving business growth
- Experience of managing a marketing budget
