Dr Sara Youssef

Sara started her career in embryology in 2007, and completed her Master's degree in Assisted Reproduction Technology (MMedSci) at the University of Nottingham in 2009. She has been a certified ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) Senior Clinical Embryologist since 2015. In the UK, she is certified by the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE), registered as a Clinical Embryologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a member of the British Fertility Society. She is also a member of the Middle East Fertility Society.
  
Before joining the team at Complete Fertility, Sara worked at the Lister Fertility Clinic in London from 2009 to 2019. During her time there, she developed expertise in a range of up-to-date techniques, including vitrification, Embryoscope™, ICSI, IMSI, and blastocyst biopsy for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
 
Sara has a BSc Pharmacy degree from Alexandria University (2003), and is a registered Pharmacist with the Egyptian Pharmacists Syndicate. Prior to Sara's career in embryology she worked as a pharmacist, and then pharmacy owner-manager at Alex Specialized Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, which specialises in obstetrics/gynaecology and paediatrics. These two disciplines, embryology and pharmacy, complement each other perfectly, and give Sara a broad base of knowledge and experience.
